Mixed feelings about Acuity

Our team of about 8 started using Acuity Scheduling because the boss wanted a unified calendar system. Getting everyone on board was kinda rough since some folks found the interface confusing, and syncing with other apps wasn’t always smooth. Still, it helped reduce a lot of back-and-forth emails, even if not everyone loves it.

Helped booking but flawed payments

I was drowning in back-and-forth emails trying to schedule client meetings, and Acuity Scheduling at least streamlined booking by letting clients pick times themselves. That part worked well and saved me from the endless calendar shuffle. However, the payment integration was clunky and unreliable, which caused a lot of headaches, so I couldn’t fully switch over.

Customizable and User-Friendly

I initially tried Calendly and Setmore before settling on Acuity Scheduling. What really stood out was how customizable Acuity is, especially for managing different types of appointments and integrating with my payment system easily. Calendly felt too basic for my needs, and Setmore’s interface was a bit clunky in comparison. Acuity strikes a good balance between ease of use and robust features, which makes it my go-to for scheduling.

Works but a bit clunky

Acuity does the basics fine and scheduling clients isn’t a hassle, but sometimes the interface feels a bit clunky and not very intuitive. I found myself clicking around more than I wanted to just to get simple things done. Not bad overall, but definitely room for improvement.

Works but has glitches

Does the job but setup was kinda confusing at first, and sometimes it glitches with my calendar syncing. Not terrible, just a bit annoying.

Smooth and straightforward setup

Setting up Acuity Scheduling was surprisingly smooth. The onboarding guided me through most of the basics without overwhelming stuff, and I had the core calendar integrated in under an hour. There was a slight learning curve figuring out some of the customization options, but overall it didn’t feel complicated. Definitely easier than expected for something this flexible.

Smooth and clear setup

Setup was straightforward and the onboarding guided me well through the process. Took about an hour to get everything dialed in, and the interface made it easy to learn as I went.

Great value for small biz

I think Acuity Scheduling is great value for small businesses like mine. The monthly fee felt a bit steep at first, but honestly, it's saved me so much time coordinating appointments that it’s paid for itself. The ease of use and integrations with my calendar have reduced no-shows and mix-ups significantly, which definitely boosts my ROI. Would recommend if you want a reliable system without breaking the bank.

Stopped Double Bookings Easily

We kept double booking clients because managing appointments manually was a mess. Acuity Scheduling made it super easy to sync calendars and prevent overlaps, saving me a ton of headaches — though sometimes the reminders are a bit slow to send out.

Scheduling made easy

Honestly surprised how smooth booking has gotten since I started using this. Syncs up with my calendar no problem and clients don’t have to bug me about times. Only thing is sometimes the notifications get a bit wonky, but whatever, still works great overall.
