Smooth onboarding and setup
Getting started with BigCommerce was surprisingly smooth. The onboarding guides were clear, and I had my store partially set up within a couple of hours. There was a bit of a learning curve when it came to customizing certain features, but overall nothing too overwhelming. The platform didn’t bog me down with unnecessary steps, which made the whole process feel manageable.

Worth the investment
The pricing is a bit on the higher side, but the tools and features have definitely helped boost my sales, so it’s worth the investment for me.

Decent but somewhat pricey
The pricing feels a bit steep for what you get, especially if you’re just starting out, but the platform does offer solid tools that can help justify the cost over time. Still, I expected a bit more bang for the buck upfront.

Solid and Improving Platform
Been running my store on BigCommerce for about five years now, and it’s definitely improved a lot—new features and smoother integrations have made managing my products way easier over time.

Solid but a bit clunky
Been with them since about 5 years now, and while the platform has definitely improved in some areas like UI and integrations, it's still kinda clunky and sometimes slow to keep up with new ecommerce trends. Customer support helped out a few times, but the pricing feels a bit steep for small businesses like mine.

Good features, but clunky UI
I tried Shopify and WooCommerce before settling on BigCommerce because it offered more built-in features without needing extra plugins. That said, I found the interface a bit clunky and the learning curve steeper than I expected.

Mixed feelings on adoption
Our team of six was pushed to switch over by management, and while a few of us picked it up quickly, others struggled with the interface which slowed down collaboration. Getting everyone on board took longer than expected, and some features felt a bit clunky for our workflow.

Solid and improving platform
Started with BigCommerce about five years ago, and I've definitely seen steady improvements. The platform handles growing product lines well, and their support has become more responsive over time. Overall, it’s been reliable and keeps getting better for my store’s needs.

Decent but a bit clunky
Our team of about eight people uses BigCommerce to manage our online store, and getting everyone comfortable with it took longer than I expected. Some folks picked it up quickly, but others found the interface a bit clunky and not very intuitive, which slowed down collaboration. The transition happened because management wanted to standardize our platform, but not everyone felt it was the best fit for our workflow. Overall, it gets the job done, but I wish it felt more seamless when multiple people are working on updates at the same time.

Great catalog tools, SEO needs work
The product catalog management in BigCommerce is exactly what we needed to keep our inventory organized and easy to update. Setting up different variants and bulk editing options saved me so much time. However, the built-in SEO tools feel a bit limited compared to other platforms I've tried — it works, but could definitely use some improvement. Overall, it’s a solid choice if catalog control is your priority.
