Good but inconsistent fit
Our team of eight started using BigCommerce last year, mostly for managing multiple product lines. Getting everyone on board was a bit uneven—some teammates adapted quickly, but others found the interface clunky and collaboration features limited. Overall, it works okay for basic tasks, but it sometimes feels like it slows down our workflow rather than speeding it up.

Mixed Feelings on Setup
Getting BigCommerce up and running was a bit of a mixed bag for me. The initial onboarding was straightforward enough, and I had the basic store live within a few hours. However, diving deeper into customizations took longer than expected and the learning curve here was definitely steeper than I thought. Some features felt intuitive, but others required a lot of trial and error, which was kinda frustrating at times.

Mixed feelings on setup
Getting started with BigCommerce was a bit of a mixed bag. The initial onboarding was straightforward and I had a basic store up in a couple of hours, but some of the more advanced features took a lot of digging to figure out and weren’t very intuitive. Overall, not terrible but definitely required patience to get everything running smoothly.

Smooth and Clear Setup
Getting everything set up was straightforward and the onboarding guides really helped me avoid confusion. Took a couple of hours to get my store fully up and running, which felt reasonable for the features I needed.

Steady Improvement Over Time
Been with them for about 5 years now and it’s definitely gotten smoother and more intuitive over time. Some updates have been a bit confusing at first, but overall it’s a solid platform that keeps improving.

Smooth and straightforward setup
Getting everything set up was surprisingly smooth and didn’t take long at all. The onboarding guided me through the essentials without overwhelming me, and I was able to get the basics running in just a couple of hours. There was a bit of a learning curve when trying to customize some features, but overall it was manageable.

Great for growing stores
I tried Shopify and Wix before landing on BigCommerce, and what stood out was the built-in features without needing a bunch of extra apps. The setup felt more straightforward for managing multiple product variants, which was a pain point elsewhere. The only drawback is the learning curve when it comes to some of the more advanced settings, but overall it’s been solid for scaling my store.

More control, less hassle
Switched from Shopify after feeling boxed in by their themes, and BigCommerce gave me more control without needing to dive deep into code. Compared it to WooCommerce too, but BigCommerce’s built-in tools just saved me a ton of time on setup and managing shipping options.

Smooth and straightforward setup
Getting started with BigCommerce was surprisingly smooth. The onboarding guides walked me through everything clearly, and I had the basic store up and running within a couple of hours. There was a bit of a learning curve when diving into the more advanced customization options, but overall, the setup didn’t feel overwhelming. Definitely felt like a solid balance between ease of use and powerful features.

Pricey but functional
The pricing felt a bit steep for what I got, especially compared to some other platforms. While it does cover the basics well and has solid features, the ROI wasn’t as clear in the short term. For smaller stores, it might not be the best bang for your buck.
