Easy themes, iffy shipping
The storefront themes are super easy to customize without messing up the code, which saved me a ton of time. The shipping integration works well but sometimes glitches when switching carriers, which can be frustrating.

Decent but a bit pricey
BigCommerce feels a bit pricey for what you get, especially when you factor in transaction fees and add-ons. That said, if your store grows, it can start to pay off, but for smaller setups, it might not be the best bang for your buck.

Solved inventory chaos
We were drowning in the chaos of managing multiple sales channels and inventory tracking, which was a nightmare before BigCommerce. Setting up their integrations helped us sync stock levels and reduce overselling, which saved a lot of headaches. That said, the interface can be clunky and sometimes slow, so it’s not without its frustrations.

Setup was a mixed bag
The initial onboarding was a bit confusing and took longer than expected, but once I got through it, the setup was manageable. There’s definitely a learning curve, especially figuring out some of the advanced features.

Decent but a bit clunky
BigCommerce works okay for setting up my store, but I had a bit of a learning curve with some of the features that weren’t super intuitive. The site runs pretty smoothly once you get past that, though. I did wish the pricing was a bit clearer and less confusing with all the add-ons. Overall, not bad, but I’ve definitely used easier platforms before.

Better flexibility than Shopify
Switched from Shopify after feeling boxed in by their pricing tiers and limited customization. BigCommerce gave me more flexibility with payment options and better built-in SEO tools that actually helped my traffic. The interface took a bit to get used to, but overall it's been worth the switch.

Great product management, decent SEO
The product management system on BigCommerce is exactly what we needed to keep everything organized and easy to update without hassle. Setting up product variants and bulk editing was surprisingly smooth, which saved me a ton of time. The built-in SEO tools also do a solid job, though I found the reporting dashboard a bit clunky and not as user-friendly as I hoped. Overall, it’s a strong platform that handles the core ecommerce needs well.

Solid choice for team use
Our team of six switched to BigCommerce last year for managing our online store, and overall it’s been smooth sailing. Getting everyone on board wasn’t too difficult because the platform is fairly intuitive, and the support docs helped clear up questions quickly. Collaboration improved since we could assign different roles and track changes in real-time, which cut down on the usual email back-and-forth. The only hiccup was a slight learning curve with some of the more advanced customization options, but nothing that stalled us for long.

Worth the investment
BigCommerce is a bit on the pricey side, but for the features and support you get, I honestly think it pays for itself. My small online store has grown steadily since switching, and the ROI makes the cost feel worth it. There’s a learning curve, but once you get past that, it’s solid value overall.

Great SEO and product options
The built-in SEO tools on BigCommerce really helped my store get noticed without having to dive too deep into technical stuff. Setting up product variants is also straightforward, which saved me a ton of time when listing items. That said, I found the reporting features a bit lacking in customization, so I couldn't get all the insights I wanted without exporting data elsewhere. Overall, a solid platform that balances ease of use with powerful features.
