Smooth team adoption overall

Our small team of six jumped on BigCommerce when our manager insisted on switching platforms last year. At first, getting everyone comfortable with the interface took a bit of time, especially for those less tech-savvy, but once the basics clicked, collaboration improved noticeably. We all appreciate how easy it is to update product info and manage orders without needing constant IT help. Overall, it streamlined a lot of our day-to-day tasks and helped us stay coordinated across departments.

Strong product tools, weak SEO

The product management features in BigCommerce are really solid and make organizing inventory straightforward, which saved me a lot of time. However, I found the built-in SEO tools a bit limited and not as intuitive as I expected, which made optimizing my store a bit frustrating. I wish they offered more guidance or automation in that area. Overall, it’s a decent platform but some parts definitely need polishing.

Decent value but a bit pricey

BigCommerce isn’t exactly cheap, and I felt the cost was a bit steep considering some features are locked behind higher tiers. That said, for what it offers, the platform does help drive decent ROI if you’re serious about scaling. It’s definitely good value for small teams who want a solid, all-in-one solution without juggling multiple tools. Just wish they were a bit more transparent about additional fees, which caught me off guard at times.

Solid platform that keeps improving

Started with BigCommerce about five years ago, and it’s definitely improved a lot since then. The platform feels smoother now, and features that were missing early on have gradually shown up, making managing my store easier overall.

Solid and easy to use

BigCommerce is actually pretty solid for what I need. Setting up my store wasn’t too complicated, and I liked how flexible the design options were without feeling overwhelming. The only thing is that sometimes the extra features feel a bit pricey if you’re just starting out. Overall, it’s been smooth sailing for my online shop and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable platform.

Hard to adopt and awkward

Our team of five was forced to switch to BigCommerce, and honestly getting everyone on board was a nightmare. The platform felt clunky and unintuitive, which made collaboration painful rather than easier. We ended up wasting a lot of time figuring out basic features that should've been straightforward.

Great SEO and Easy Builder

The built-in SEO tools really helped boost my store's visibility without much hassle, which was a huge win. The drag-and-drop page builder is easy to use, though I wish it had a few more design options to customize layouts better.

Solved Inventory Headaches

Managing inventory across multiple sales channels was a nightmare until BigCommerce’s integrated tools made syncing stock levels way easier. It saved us from overselling and cut down the manual work a ton.

Solid but with quirks

After being on BigCommerce for about five years, I've seen some solid improvements in their platform, especially in terms of design flexibility and payment integrations. That said, it still feels like certain features are stuck behind pricey plans, which can be frustrating for smaller sellers like me. The support has gotten better over time, although it can still be hit or miss depending on who you get. Overall, it's a decent platform if you’re willing to put up with some quirks and costs.
