Simplified Checkout Boosted Sales

We were constantly losing sales because our checkout process was confusing and slow. BigCommerce made it way easier to customize the checkout flow and sped things up, which actually helped reduce cart abandonment for us.

Mixed feelings about BigCommerce

Our team of eight was pushed to use BigCommerce for managing our online store. Getting everyone on the same page was a bit rough since some found the interface unintuitive, but collaboration improved once we settled into it. Still, a few of us ran into limitations that slowed down certain workflows.

Smooth team adoption overall

Smooth and straightforward setup

Getting everything set up on BigCommerce was smoother than I expected. The onboarding guides were clear and helped me avoid a lot of the usual headaches. It took a couple of hours to fully customize my store, but the learning curve wasn’t too steep, even without prior experience. Overall, I had it running nicely without much frustration.

Solid and easy to use

Setup was unnecessarily frustrating

Getting started with BigCommerce was way more frustrating than I expected. The onboarding felt rushed and didn’t really explain the key parts I needed to know, so I spent a lot of time just trying to figure out where things were. The setup process itself was clunky, with several steps that weren’t intuitive at all, which made the whole experience drag on much longer than it should have. Definitely not a smooth start if you’re hoping to get your store up quickly.

Solid but could be smoother

BigCommerce felt like a solid choice compared to Shopify and WooCommerce, especially because it handles built-in features without too many plugins. However, I found the interface a bit clunky and not as intuitive as Shopify, which I had tried first but switched from due to pricing. While the built-in SEO options are decent, I missed the flexibility WooCommerce offers with customizations. Overall, it’s reliable but not the easiest to work with if you’re not super tech-savvy.

Great product management, reporting clunky

The product management system is exactly what we needed to keep everything organized and updated quickly. However, the reporting features feel a bit clunky and could use some improvement to make data insights easier to access.
