Solid for quick edits
Cool for quick video edits and screen recording, tho sometimes the export takes forever. Still, gets me through my tutorials no probs.

Great tool for team training
Our team of about 10 started using Camtasia a few months ago to create training videos and internal presentations. Getting everyone to adopt it was smoother than expected since the interface is pretty intuitive, though a couple of folks took some time to get comfortable with the editing features. We’ve found it really helpful for collaborating on projects because we can easily share rough cuts and get feedback. The boss pushed for this switch, and honestly, it’s made remote communication way clearer for everyone.

Smooth recording, easy editing
Camtasia’s screen recording is super smooth and editing’s pretty straightforward. Took me a bit to get used to some features, but overall it’s solid for quick video stuff.

Good value for solo creators
Camtasia is a bit pricey upfront, but for me it totally pays for itself with how much time I save editing videos. I work solo on tutorials and it's way easier than juggling multiple tools, so I feel like the value is there even if the cost makes you think twice at first.

Great for team training vids
Our team of about 8 jumped on Camtasia for creating quick training videos, and it really helped cut down on back-and-forth emails. Took a bit for some folks to get used to the interface, but once we did, collaboration got way smoother.

Made training videos simple
I was struggling to create clear training videos with detailed annotations, and Camtasia made it way easier to highlight exactly what I wanted without a ton of fuss. The timeline editing helped me quickly cut out mistakes and add callouts, which saved me hours compared to my old setup.

Great for team video projects
Our team of about 10 jumped on Camtasia last year after the boss insisted we find a better way to create training videos. Getting everyone comfortable with the software took a couple of weeks, but once we did, collaboration improved since we could easily share and edit project files. It’s helped streamline how we communicate complex info, though sometimes exporting videos can be slower than I'd like.

Smooth editing with smart features
I initially tried OBS Studio and ScreenFlow for recording tutorials, but Camtasia felt way more intuitive when it came to editing. The timeline controls are straightforward, and adding annotations or callouts is really smooth, which saved me a lot of time compared to juggling separate tools. While ScreenFlow has great editing features too, Camtasia’s all-in-one approach just clicks better for the kind of quick, polished videos I need to produce. The only downside is that it can be a bit heavy on system resources, but overall, it’s been a solid choice for my workflow.

Solid and steadily improving
Started using this about five years ago, and it’s definitely come a long way. The interface has gotten a lot smoother, and I appreciate the new editing features without it feeling overwhelming. Still my go-to for quick tutorials and presentations.

Solid video editing choice
Tried OBS Studio and ScreenFlow before settling on Camtasia. While OBS is great for free streaming, I needed something easier to edit with, and ScreenFlow felt a bit clunky on my Windows setup. Camtasia strikes a nice balance, especially with its built-in video effects and straightforward timeline, though exporting can be a bit slow sometimes.
