Centralized project docs easily
Our team used to get lost in endless email threads trying to keep project documentation clear. Confluence made it way easier to centralize all info and track changes in one place, which saved us lots of time during deadlines. The search feature especially helped me find the right documents without endless scrolling.

Keeps Team Info Organized
Confluence really helps keep all our team info in one spot without too much hassle. I like how easy it is to link pages and keep stuff organized, though sometimes the editor can be a bit clunky. Overall, it’s made collaboration way smoother, especially when juggling projects with different people. Definitely saves time compared to digging through emails or random docs.

Good for docs, a bit clunky
Switched to Confluence after trying Notion and Google Docs for team collaboration. I like how it organizes content and integrates with Jira, but sometimes the interface feels cluttered and not as intuitive as Notion. It’s solid for documentation but can be frustrating when you want quick, flexible note-taking.

Smooth Setup, Easy Onboarding
Getting Confluence up and running was surprisingly smooth. The initial setup took about an afternoon, but the step-by-step onboarding really helped cut down confusion. There was a bit of a learning curve figuring out how to organize spaces effectively, but overall it wasn’t too steep. I appreciated how quickly the team could start collaborating once everything was in place.

Improved Over Time
Started using this about five years ago, and it’s definitely gotten smoother and more user-friendly over time. The way they’ve improved collaboration features has made a big difference for my team’s workflow. Sometimes it still feels a bit clunky when loading large pages, but overall it’s been a solid tool for documentation.

Great editor, frustrating search
The page editing experience is surprisingly smooth and intuitive, which really helps when collaborating with my team. However, I find the search function pretty frustrating—it often misses important pages or shows irrelevant results, making it harder to find what I need quickly.

Decent but inconsistent use
Our team of about 10 started using Confluence last year, but getting everyone to actually update pages regularly was a real struggle. Collaboration improved a bit, but some people still prefer email or chat instead of documenting stuff properly.

Costly for small teams
The pricing feels a bit steep for smaller teams, and some features don’t justify the cost. It’s useful, but I’m not sure the return on investment is there unless you really need the advanced collaboration tools.

Good integration but clunky UI
Compared Confluence to Notion and Google Docs before settling on it, mainly for the way it integrates with Jira. The page editing experience can feel clunky compared to Notion’s more modern interface, and it sometimes takes extra clicks to do simple tasks. That said, the strong version history and team collaboration features have saved us on a few projects. Overall, it’s solid but feels a bit outdated compared to newer tools.

Smooth and straightforward setup
Getting Confluence up and running was surprisingly smooth. The onboarding walkthrough helped me understand the basics without feeling overwhelmed, and I had a functional workspace within a couple of hours. There was a bit of a learning curve when it came to customizing templates and navigation, but overall the setup process didn't hold me back. Definitely worth the time spent figuring out the more advanced features.
