Decent but a bit pricey
Confluence offers decent features but feels a bit pricey, especially for smaller teams who might not use all of its capabilities. It can pay off if you really lean into its collaboration tools, but for others, the cost may not justify the return. Overall, it’s okay value if you get the right use out of it, but there’s some hesitation on whether it’s worth the price tag.

Better for team docs and Jira
Switched from Notion after struggling to keep our team documentation organized and found Confluence fits better for our needs. Compared it to SharePoint too, but Confluence just feels more intuitive when collaborating on long-form content and integrating with Jira. The search function is solid, though sometimes it takes a moment to load pages with lots of attachments, which can get frustrating. Overall, it’s reliable and keeps everyone on the same page without much fuss.

Overpriced for small teams
Confluence feels way overpriced for what it offers, especially if you’re just a small team trying to stay organized. The pricing ramps up quickly and honestly, the features don’t justify the cost in my experience. We found ourselves paying more for a tool that wasn’t as intuitive or flexible as other cheaper options. It’s hard to see a solid return on investment when simpler solutions get the job done without emptying your budget.

Reliable but mobile lags
Started using this around 5 years ago, and it's definitely improved in handling our team's docs and collaboration. Some updates took a bit to get used to, but overall it's become smoother and more reliable. Wish the mobile app was a bit less clunky tho.

Helped organize scattered info
Our team was drowning in scattered project notes and missed updates until we centralized everything in Confluence. It helped keep info in one place, but the search can be frustrating and the interface feels clunky at times.

Great collaboration, search could improve
The page collaboration feature in Confluence really stands out. It's super easy to comment and tag teammates directly within the document, which speeds up our feedback loop. On the other hand, the search function sometimes feels a bit slow and isn't always great at pulling up exactly what I need, which can be frustrating when I'm in a hurry. Overall, though, the way it streamlines team input makes it a solid tool for keeping everyone on the same page.

Solid but a bit clunky
Started using Confluence about five years ago, and while it's definitely improved with new features, it sometimes feels bloated and slow, especially with larger projects. The search function has gotten better but still misses stuff occasionally. I appreciate how it keeps evolving, but the user experience can be inconsistent.

Great collaboration, search needs work
The page collaboration feature is exactly what we needed for keeping our team aligned during projects. Editing in real-time feels smooth, and the comments make it easy to discuss changes without jumping to email. I do wish the search function were a bit smarter though, sometimes it misses relevant pages or takes too long to load results.

Solid team collaboration tool
Our team of about 12 switched over to Confluence a few months ago after our manager pushed for a unified workspace. Getting everyone on board was a bit of a struggle at first since some folks preferred email or shared drives, but once we started using it daily, collaboration definitely got smoother. I especially like how easy it is to keep track of updates and have all project docs in one place. That said, sometimes the interface feels a little clunky and not super intuitive for casual users.

Good for team collaboration
Our team of about 12 switched to Confluence last year to keep track of project docs and it’s been pretty smooth overall. Getting everyone on board took a couple weeks since some folks found the interface a bit clunky at first, but now it’s our go-to for sharing updates and collaborating. Sometimes it feels like there’s too many clicks to find what you need, but it’s been a solid way for us to stay aligned.
