Easier invoice tracking
Had a ton of trouble tracking invoice payments and following up with clients on time. FreshBooks made it way easier to see who paid and who still owes me, so I stopped chasing people manually every week.

Best for Freelancers’ Invoicing
I tried QuickBooks and Xero before settling on FreshBooks, and honestly, this one just clicks better for my freelancing needs. The interface is cleaner and way easier to navigate when I'm juggling invoices and expenses on the fly. QuickBooks felt overly complex, and Xero's pricing tiers got confusing fast. FreshBooks nails the balance between simple and functional, plus their customer support has been solid whenever I hit a snag.

Simpler and More Intuitive Accounting
I switched from QuickBooks to FreshBooks after struggling with QuickBooks’ overly complex interface. FreshBooks feels much more intuitive and user-friendly, especially when it comes to invoicing and tracking expenses. I also gave Wave a shot, but it lacked some of the detailed reporting features I needed. FreshBooks strikes a good balance between simplicity and functionality, which really helps me stay on top of my freelance work without feeling overwhelmed.

Good value for freelancers
I found FreshBooks to be a solid choice for managing my freelance work without breaking the bank. The pricing feels fair for what you get, especially since it handles invoicing, tracking expenses, and time management all in one place. It’s definitely worth the investment if you’re running a small operation and want to save time on admin tasks. While it’s not the cheapest option out there, the efficiency it brings has helped me land more clients and get paid faster, which makes the cost more than reasonable in my book.

Solid and improving over time
After a few years with FreshBooks, I’ve definitely seen it get more intuitive and reliable. The invoicing features have improved a lot, making day-to-day work smoother without much hassle.

Smooth team adoption
Our team of 8 quickly adapted to FreshBooks for tracking projects and invoices. Getting everyone on board was smoother than expected since the interface is straightforward, and it’s helped us stay aligned on billing without constant back-and-forth.

Mixed feelings on setup
Getting started with FreshBooks was a bit of a mixed bag. The initial setup was straightforward and I had basic invoicing up and running in about 30 minutes, but some of the more advanced features took me longer to figure out than I expected. The onboarding tutorials helped, but there’s definitely a learning curve if you want to make full use of everything.

Solid invoicing over time
Been with FreshBooks for over 5 years now and I’ve seen it improve quite a bit, especially the mobile app which used to be kinda clunky. The invoicing is still super easy to use and saves me a ton of time, though I wish reporting had a few more customization options. Overall, it's become more reliable and I’m happy sticking with it.

Gets the job done
I find FreshBooks alright for tracking invoices and expenses, but sometimes it feels a bit clunky and slow. It gets the job done, just wish the interface was a bit smoother and more intuitive. Nothing major, but not my favorite tool out there.

Decent but not outstanding
I gave FreshBooks a shot after using QuickBooks and Wave, mostly because of its user-friendly interface. I liked how easy it was to send invoices and track expenses, but I found some features like time tracking a bit clunky compared to Toggl, which I tried briefly. The mobile app definitely helps when I'm on the go, but the pricing felt a bit steep for what you get, especially since some features require add-ons. Overall, it’s decent for simple accounting, but I wasn’t blown away enough to fully switch from other tools I’ve used.
