Solid invoicing tool

FreshBooks is pretty handy for keeping track of invoices and expenses, and it’s way easier than juggling spreadsheets. Sometimes the mobile app lags a bit, but overall it does the job and saves me a lot of time. Wish the reporting was a tad more detailed tho.

Worth the investment for small teams

FreshBooks isn’t the cheapest option out there, but for what it offers, it’s definitely worth the cost. The time I save on invoicing and tracking expenses has made the investment pay for itself pretty quickly. For a small team like mine, the pricing feels fair, and the features really cover all the basics without much hassle. I’d say it’s great value if you’re looking for something reliable and easy to use.

Smooth team invoicing switch

Our team of six switched over to FreshBooks last quarter, and once everyone got used to the interface, invoicing became way less of a headache. The collaboration features make it easy to track who's handled what, though a couple of folks found the mobile app a bit clunky at first.

Mixed feelings on setup

Getting started was kinda hit or miss; the onboarding was straightforward enough, but some features took me a while to figure out. Took me a couple hours to set everything up the way I wanted, which was a bit longer than I expected.

Worth the investment

The pricing felt a bit steep at first, but after a few months it really paid off by saving me tons of time on invoicing and tracking expenses. For a small business like mine, it’s definitely great value and has helped me stay organized without hiring extra help.

Simplified invoicing but limited reports

Managing client invoices was a nightmare for me, especially keeping track of overdue payments. FreshBooks made it easier to send reminders and see who owed what without digging through endless spreadsheets. It saved me time and reduced confusion during billing cycles, but the reporting features felt a bit limited and sometimes slow to load. Overall, it helped with the basics, but I wish it had more advanced customization options.

Setup Had Its Challenges

The onboarding process was a bit confusing at first, and I had to spend a couple of hours figuring out how to set up invoices and link my bank account properly. Once past that, it was smooth enough, but the learning curve caught me off guard since some features weren’t very intuitive initially.

Used to be great, now meh

Been with them since 2015 and honestly it just feels like they keep making things more complicated without fixing basic bugs. Used to love it but now invoicing is slow and customer support barely helps.

Smooth and straightforward setup

Getting started with FreshBooks was surprisingly smooth. The onboarding guided me through the basics without making it feel overwhelming, and I had most of my business info set up within about 30 minutes. There was a slight learning curve with customizing invoices, but the help resources made it manageable. Overall, it didn’t feel like a chore to get everything up and running.

Decent, but could improve

Started using FreshBooks about five years ago and have seen some improvements, especially in the invoicing features which have become more user-friendly. However, over time it feels like some updates have made things a bit clunkier, particularly when managing expenses and reports. Customer support can be hit or miss, and sometimes I feel like I’m paying for features I don’t fully use or need. Overall, it gets the job done but doesn’t quite keep up with everything a growing small business might require.
