Reliable with steady improvements

Started using Okta about five years ago, and I’ve noticed steady improvements, especially in the user interface and integration options. It handles our identity management smoothly, though sometimes setup can be a bit tricky for complex workflows. Overall, it’s been reliable and keeps getting better with each update.

Single Sign-On Simplifies Access

The single sign-on feature really simplifies how our team accesses multiple apps without juggling passwords all day. Setting it up took a bit of trial and error, but once configured, it runs smoothly and saves a lot of time. I also appreciate the adaptive multi-factor authentication; it feels like a smart balance between security and convenience, though sometimes the prompts can be a bit too frequent.

Steady improvement over years

After using Okta for over five years, I've seen it grow into a much more reliable and user-friendly platform. Early on, some features felt a bit clunky, but recent updates have smoothed out those rough edges and made managing access way easier. The integrations with other tools we use have also expanded, which has saved our IT team a lot of time. Overall, it's been a solid experience that keeps improving steadily.

Solid choice for team security

Our team of about 15 switched to Okta last year when the boss pushed for a smoother login process across all our apps. Getting everyone on board was a bit slow at first because some folks struggled with the extra authentication steps, but once they got used to it, collaboration felt more secure and managing access became way simpler. The IT folks especially appreciate how easy it is to add or remove users without juggling multiple passwords. Overall, it’s made our daily workflows more straightforward, even if the initial setup took a bit longer than expected.

Good but pricey and complex

Tried Azure AD and Ping Identity before, but Okta felt smoother for user management. That said, the pricing is steep and setup wasn't as intuitive as I'd hoped.

Solid and reliable SSO

Okta’s been pretty solid for handling our team’s logins and access. Setting up single sign-on wasn’t a pain like I expected, and it just works most of the time without me having to babysit it. Sometimes the interface feels a bit clunky, but overall it’s saved me a bunch of headaches. Definitely worth a shot if you need something reliable for identity management.

Streamlined Team Access

Our team of about 15 switched to Okta last year to simplify logins across multiple tools. Getting everyone on board was smoother than expected since the setup was pretty straightforward and it cut down a lot of password issues. Collaboration improved because fewer people were stuck waiting on IT for access resets.

Started using Okta about 4 years ago and it's definitely gotten smoother and more reliable over time. A few early hiccups with integrations, but those issues have mostly been ironed out. Overall, it feels like a solid tool that keeps improving without too much hassle.

Does the job, kinda slow

Okta works fine for managing logins but can be a bit clunky sometimes. Setting stuff up took longer than I expected.
