Streamlined Logins for Our Team

Our team of about 15 started using Okta a few months ago after management pushed for a more secure login process. Getting everyone on board was smoother than I expected since the setup was straightforward and the single sign-on feature really cut down on password headaches. Collaboration feels easier now, especially when accessing multiple tools without constant logins. The only hiccup was a brief learning curve for some folks unfamiliar with multi-factor authentication.

Good value for security

The pricing is a bit on the higher side, but with the time and security it saves us, it’s definitely worth the investment. We've seen real ROI from fewer password issues and smoother onboarding.

Solid SSO with minor hiccups

The single sign-on feature works flawlessly and really simplifies access for our team. The user provisioning is helpful but can be a bit slow at times.

Smooth onboarding and setup

Getting everything set up with Okta was surprisingly smooth. The onboarding materials were clear, and I had most of it running within a few hours without needing to dig too deep into documentation. There was a bit of a learning curve when customizing policies, but overall it was straightforward.

Reliable but kinda pricey

Okta does the job but feels a bit pricey for what you get. It’s reliable, but for smaller teams like mine, the cost sometimes makes me question the ROI.

Simplified login chaos

Our team was drowning in managing multiple logins for different apps, which was a nightmare during onboarding. Okta helped centralize access and reduced password reset requests significantly, but the initial setup was way more complicated than I expected and some integrations didn’t work smoothly out of the box.

Good but a bit pricey

Okta works fine for managing logins but I feel like it's a bit pricey for what we actually use. The ROI is okay, especially since it saves time on admin, but the cost adds up quickly as your team grows. For smaller setups, it might be overkill unless you really need the extra features.

Solid and improving over time

Been with Okta for about 5 years now, and it's definitely come a long way since I first started. The interface is way smoother and a lot of the glitches I used to run into have mostly disappeared, which makes managing access way less of a headache.

Smooth and straightforward setup

Getting Okta up and running was surprisingly straightforward. The onboarding materials were clear, and I had the basic setup done within a couple of hours. There was a bit of a learning curve when diving into some of the more advanced features, but overall, the initial experience was smooth and didn’t require constant hand-holding. Definitely felt like the time spent was worth it.

Great SSO, MFA needs polish

The single sign-on feature really simplifies logging into all our apps, which has been a huge time saver for the team. However, the multi-factor authentication setup felt clunky and confusing at first, especially for non-technical users. I'd say the core functionality is solid, but the user experience around security could definitely use some polish. Overall, it’s helpful but not without its frustrations.
