Reliable and improving over time

Started using Okta about five years ago, and honestly, it’s come a long way since then. The platform was a bit clunky at first, but over time, the UI has improved a lot and the integrations feel way smoother now. I appreciate how it handles single sign-on without too much hassle, though sometimes the setup docs can be a bit confusing. Overall, it’s been a solid tool for managing access across our growing team, and I’m happy with how it’s evolved.

Worth the cost overall

Okta is a bit pricey, especially when you’re just starting out, but the time saved managing user access has made it worth the cost for us. The onboarding was smooth and it’s saved our IT team a lot of headaches, so overall good value for what we pay. Just wish the pricing was a bit more transparent upfront.

Smooth team login switch

Our team of about 12 switched to Okta last quarter, and getting everyone on board was easier than I thought. It’s made logging into all our tools way smoother, though sometimes the app can be a bit slow to load.

Simplified login chaos

Our team was drowning in managing multiple logins across various internal apps, which kept slowing down onboarding and causing support tickets. Okta helped by centralizing access and simplifying single sign-on, so new hires could get started faster without juggling passwords. That said, the setup was more complicated than expected and some integrations weren't smooth, which led to a few frustrating delays. Overall, it did fix the login chaos but felt a bit clunky at times.

Costly but worth it

Pricing felt a bit steep at first, but the time saved on managing user access more than made up for it. Definitely good value if security and ease of use matter to you.

Reliable and straightforward SSO

We initially tried Microsoft Azure AD and OneLogin before settling on Okta, mainly because its user interface felt cleaner and the setup was more straightforward for our team. Okta's integrations with various apps worked more reliably compared to the others, and their support was responsive when we hit snags during rollout. While Azure AD felt clunkier and OneLogin had some inconsistent behavior with multi-factor authentication, Okta struck a good balance between functionality and ease of use. Overall, it made managing our user access a lot smoother without a steep learning curve.

Solid but a bit clunky

Gave Okta a shot after trying OneLogin and Auth0. Okta handles user management well but feels a bit clunky and pricey compared to Auth0’s flexibility. Switching back is tempting, though Okta's integrations are solid.

Solid and improving over time

Started using Okta about five years ago and it’s definitely improved since day one. The setup was a bit rough at first, but their updates have made managing users way smoother and the integration options keep expanding. Sometimes the UI feels a little clunky, but overall it’s been a solid tool that grows with our needs.

Solid SSO, provisioning lags

The single sign-on feature works seamlessly across all our apps, which saves a ton of time. The user provisioning is helpful but can be a bit slow during peak hours.

Helped with remote access

We were struggling to manage access for a growing remote team, and Okta helped centralize login credentials which made onboarding smoother. That said, some integrations felt clunky and the interface could be more intuitive.
