Solid and Improving Over Time
Started using Ping Identity about five years ago, and it’s definitely grown into a more reliable and flexible platform over time. The interface has gotten smoother and integration with our existing systems feels less painful now than when we first set it up. Overall, it’s been a solid experience that’s improved steadily.

Flexible and reliable identity tool
We initially tried Okta and Auth0 for our identity management needs, but Ping Identity stood out for its flexible integration options and robust support for legacy systems. The setup took a bit longer than expected, but once running, the single sign-on and multi-factor authentication features worked smoothly without much hassle. I also appreciated how customizable the workflows were compared to the more rigid setups in other tools. Overall, it handled complex enterprise requirements better, which made the extra effort worthwhile.

Flexible but clunky UI
Switched from Okta after some integration headaches, and Ping Identity felt more flexible when customizing workflows. That said, the interface isn’t the most intuitive, and setting up advanced rules took longer than expected compared to Auth0. Overall, it’s solid but could use some polish in user experience.

Solid but could improve
Started with Ping Identity about five years ago, and while the core features have improved, some updates have made the interface less intuitive in my opinion. Support can be hit or miss depending on who you get, which has been frustrating at times. Overall, it gets the job done but hasn't felt like a seamless experience throughout.

Smooth SSO, Solid Security
I really like how the single sign-on feature simplifies access across multiple apps — it just works smoothly without constant logins. The adaptive authentication is helpful too, especially when we want extra security without annoying users every time. That said, setting up some of the policies felt a bit unintuitive at first, so a clearer guide would be great.

Good for complex setups
We initially tried Okta, but Ping Identity offered more flexibility with on-premise integrations, which was a big plus for our setup. That said, the user interface feels a bit outdated compared to tools like Auth0, and the learning curve was steeper than we expected. Support was helpful but sometimes slow to respond. Overall, it’s solid for enterprises needing custom solutions but might not be the easiest choice for smaller teams.

Solid SSO with Smooth Adoption
Our team of about 15 started using Ping Identity last year after management pushed for a more secure single sign-on solution. Getting everyone on board was smoother than expected since the setup was straightforward and it integrated well with our existing tools. The IT and security teams have definitely collaborated more closely because of how central Ping has become to our workflow. The only hiccup was some initial confusion with multi-factor authentication setups, but overall it’s made managing user access way easier.

Solid SSO solution
Setup was smoother than I expected and it handles single sign-on like a champ. Wish the docs were a bit clearer though.

Useful but a bit clunky
Our team of about 10 started using Ping Identity mainly for single sign-on and access management. Getting everyone on board was a bit rough since some folks found the setup confusing, especially with the different user roles. The security benefits are clear, but sometimes the system feels a bit clunky and slows down workflows, which has caused some frustration. Overall, it’s reliable but not the smoothest experience for collaboration across departments.

Simplifies SSO but has quirks
We were struggling to manage single sign-on across multiple internal apps, and Ping Identity helped simplify that process. It worked well for basic integration, but some advanced features were tricky to set up and not very intuitive.
