Streamlined payroll and benefits

Switched from Oracle HCM and gave Workday a try because of its reputation for user-friendly design, and honestly it’s made managing payroll and benefits way easier for our team. Compared it to SAP SuccessFactors too, but Workday’s reporting tools felt more intuitive, even if the mobile app can be a bit glitchy sometimes.

Great time tracking, clunky reporting

The time tracking feature is exactly what we needed to keep everyone accountable without extra hassle. It’s straightforward and syncs well with payroll, which saves us a lot of manual work. On the other hand, the reporting tool feels a bit clunky and could use some improvement to be more user-friendly and flexible for custom needs.

Smooth and straightforward setup

Getting Workday up and running was surprisingly smooth — the onboarding materials were clear and I had it mostly set in a couple days. There was a bit of a learning curve with some features, but overall, the setup process didn’t feel overwhelming or confusing. Definitely worth the time investment.

Simplified time-off tracking

Managing employee time-off requests was a nightmare before Workday because we had no central system. This tool helped us track and approve leave more easily, which saved a ton of back-and-forth emails. That said, the interface is really clunky and slow, and sometimes it glitches when submitting forms, which makes daily use frustrating.
