Better fit for small business
Switched from QuickBooks after struggling with its clunky interface, and Xero feels way more intuitive for day-to-day bookkeeping. I also looked at FreshBooks, but Xero’s bank reconciliation feature and integration options just fit my small business workflow better. It’s not perfect—sometimes the mobile app lags—but overall it’s made managing invoices and expenses way less painful.

Smooth transition for team accounting
Our team of six switched to Xero last year and getting everyone on board was easier than I expected. The collaboration features helped us keep track of expenses and invoices without endless email threads, though sometimes the mobile app feels a bit clunky. Overall, it made our accounting workflow smoother and less stressful.

Great reconciliation, app needs work
The bank reconciliation feature saves me so much time, and the invoice templates look really professional. I wish the mobile app was a bit more responsive though.

Solid and improving tool
Been with Xero for about 5 years now, and it's definitely gotten smoother and more intuitive over time. Some features still feel a bit clunky, but overall it handles my business finances really well.

Solid but a bit clunky
Xero's been a solid help keeping my invoices and expenses straight, though sometimes the interface feels a bit clunky. Still, it saves me a ton of headache so I can't complain much.

Smooth and simple setup
Setup was pretty straightforward and didn’t take long. The onboarding guides helped a lot, so I was up and running without feeling totally lost.

Intuitive and reliable accounting
I switched to Xero after trying QuickBooks and Wave, and honestly, Xero just felt more intuitive for managing invoicing and bank reconciliation. QuickBooks had a steeper learning curve, and Wave was free but lacked some of the robust features I needed for tracking expenses. What sold me on Xero was how smoothly it integrates with other apps I use daily, plus the mobile app is surprisingly solid. The only downside is that some advanced reporting features can be a bit clunky, but overall, it fits my small business needs really well.

Used to be better
Started using Xero about 6 years ago and honestly, it feels like things have only gotten more complicated with every update. Features that worked well before are now buried or buggy, and customer support takes forever to respond. I’m really disappointed since I expected things to improve over time but it’s been a steady decline instead.

Smooth team transition to Xero
Our team of six switched over to Xero a few months ago after our manager insisted we give it a try. Getting everyone up to speed was smoother than I expected, mostly because the interface is pretty intuitive and there are plenty of tutorials available. What really helped was how easy it became for us to collaborate on invoices and expenses in real time, which cut down on back-and-forth emails. The one hiccup has been customizing reports, which can be a bit clunky sometimes, but overall it’s made our accounting workflow much more transparent and efficient.

Smooth and straightforward setup
Getting Xero up and running was smoother than I expected—took me about an hour to set everything up and import my data. The onboarding guides were clear without being overwhelming, so I felt confident pretty quickly. There’s a bit of a learning curve with some features, but overall it wasn’t frustrating to figure out.
