Solid choice for small biz

Switched from QuickBooks after finding their interface clunky, and FreshBooks felt too basic for what I needed. Xero struck the right balance with a clean, intuitive setup and solid bank integration that made tracking expenses way easier.

Used to be great, now frustrating

Started using Xero about eight years ago when it was straightforward and reliable, but over time it feels like they've focused more on flashy updates than fixing core issues. The interface has become cluttered and slower, and customer support is way less helpful than it used to be. What once was a tool that saved me time now often causes more headaches, especially with frequent bugs and confusing reports that don’t match up with actual numbers. Honestly, I’m seriously considering switching to something more stable at this point.

Mixed feelings on Xero adoption

Our team of 8 switched to Xero last year because the boss decided we needed something 'better' for invoicing and expenses. Getting everyone on board was kinda rough since some people found the interface confusing and felt it slowed down their workflow. Collaboration features are okay, but not as seamless as we hoped, so it's a mixed bag in terms of team use.

Worth the cost for small biz

Xero feels a bit pricey compared to some other options, but the time it saves me on bookkeeping definitely justifies the cost. For my small business, it’s been a solid investment that pays off in less stress and fewer errors, so I’d say it’s great value for what you get.

Simplified bookkeeping big time

Keeping track of expenses and reconciling bank transactions was a nightmare for my small business. Xero made it way simpler by automatically importing and matching my bank feeds, which saved me hours every week. I also liked how easy it was to generate clear financial reports that helped me understand where the cash was going. The only hiccup was the occasional delay in syncing with some smaller banks, but overall it handled the core problem really well.

Simple and effective bookkeeping

Xero’s been pretty solid for keeping my small biz books in check. I like how easy it is to link my bank and see everything in one spot. Sometimes it feels a bit slow loading, but overall, it’s saved me a ton of time.

Finally sorted invoices easily

We were constantly losing track of invoices and payments, which made month-end accounting a nightmare. Solid for small biz stuff
