Useful but glitchy over time

Started using this about five years ago and while the interface has definitely improved, occasional glitches and connection drops still get frustrating during important calls.

Overpriced and underwhelming value

Zoom feels way overpriced for what you actually get, especially when compared to other video call platforms. The basic free plan is very limited, and once you pay for a subscription, the features don’t justify the cost in my experience. I expected better reliability and customer support given the price, but honestly, it hasn’t felt like a good return on investment for my small business. There are cheaper options out there that do the job just as well, if not better.

Quick and painless setup

Getting Zoom up and running was surprisingly quick—I had it set up and ready to use within 10 minutes. The onboarding steps were straightforward, and I didn’t struggle much with the interface at all.

Solid but has bugs lately

Started using Zoom about five years ago for work and casual hangouts. Over time, the video quality has definitely improved, and I appreciate how the interface has become more user-friendly. That said, recent updates sometimes feel buggy, and the free plan limits can be frustrating for longer meetings. Overall, it's reliable but not as seamless as it used to be.

Good screen share, flaky breakout rooms

The screen sharing works great and is super easy to use, but the breakout rooms can be glitchy and sometimes kick people out for no reason.

Quick and easy setup

Getting Zoom up and running was surprisingly quick—I had it installed and set up within about 10 minutes. The onboarding flow is straightforward, so even if you're not super tech-savvy, you won't get stuck. It didn’t take much fiddling to figure out the main features, which made jumping into meetings hassle-free.

Great for remote team calls

Our team of about 12 switched to Zoom last year and it really helped with keeping everyone connected, especially when we went fully remote. Getting everyone on board was smoother than I expected, though sometimes the video lags a bit during bigger calls.

Decent but a bit glitchy

Our team of about 12 started using Zoom last year, and while most people caught on quickly, a few still struggle with the interface. It works fine for meetings, but sometimes the call quality drops and it can interrupt the flow.

Reliable and improving over time

Started using this about five years ago, and it’s come a long way since then. The call quality and stability have really improved, though I wish the interface was a bit less cluttered now.

Reliable and Easy to Use

Switched from Google Meet after struggling with connection issues, and Zoom felt smoother overall. Compared it to Microsoft Teams too, but Zoom's interface is just simpler for quick meetings without the extra clutter.
