Great inventory, needs SEO tweaks

Solid and Improving Platform

Started with BigCommerce about five years ago, and it’s definitely improved, especially the checkout process and integrations. It’s reliable and keeps getting better, though some of the design templates still feel a bit outdated.

Struggled with adoption and features

Our team of about 10 was pushed to use BigCommerce for our online store, but getting everyone comfortable with it was a real challenge. The interface felt clunky to many, and some key features we expected were either missing or hard to figure out. Collaboration suffered because the platform doesn’t integrate well with other tools we rely on, which slowed down our workflow. Overall, the switch felt forced, and we ended up spending more time troubleshooting than actually improving our sales process.

Smooth and straightforward setup

Getting everything set up on BigCommerce was smoother than I expected. The onboarding guides were straightforward and helped me avoid a lot of guesswork, so I had my store up and running in just a couple of hours. There was a little bit of a learning curve with some of the more advanced features, but nothing too overwhelming. Overall, it felt like a solid balance between ease and customization without too much frustration.

Steady improvement over years

Been with BigCommerce for about five years now and gotta say it’s only gotten smoother over time. The interface has improved a lot, especially with newer themes and better mobile optimization, which really helped my store’s performance. There were a couple of times when support was a bit slow, but overall they've stepped up their game. Would’ve given 5 stars if the reporting tools were a bit more intuitive though.
